Utah is home of the Bonneville Salt Flats. This is where they test cars that break the speed records. This is chosen as it has miles and miles of unobstructed flat land. When you are approaching the sound barrier in a car you cant hit a pot hole. The are of the Bonneville Salt Flats is very desolate. When we drive across the flats it takes hours with little services. The wind can cause a white out as the salt can be kicked up. We have stopped at the visitor center and there is not much to it. Home For Life Animal Sanctuary would be lost in the flat area.
