I know that Utah bring to mind Salt Lake City and Mormons but there is so much more to it than that. The national parks were the best I have seen.
Arches National Park was amazing. It is not a park you can walk through. It is so large you need to drive from lookout point to visitor center. The views are breath taking. The horse back rides through the park are pricey but worth it. You will see areas from different angles that can not be seen from the roads. If you ever find yourself in Utah I highly recommend spending time with the national parks. Mo Howard (WVU) interview is a talk that tells a story.
